Terms and Conditions

At Old Waterslack Farm we endeavour to provide you with well equipped and exceptionally clean accommodation in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. For this reason we have put together Terms and Conditions with regard to hiring our holiday accommodation.

The following terms and conditions must be read by the person making any booking at Old Waterslack Farm Holiday Cottages and Caravans. Please sign the bottom of the page to agree to these terms and conditions and send back with your deposit. If no signature is provided your booking cannot be made.

Our agreement with you binds you, (the person named on the Confirmation), and all members of your party, including children, pets and any day visitors. You must ensure that all members of your party are aware of, and accept all of this agreement. Our agreement continues until the last member of your party has left the cottage/caravan at Old Waterslack Farm, including any extension to your stay and for such time afterwards as may be necessary.

The following terms and conditions must be adhered to at all times:

No Smoking is permitted inside the cottages, caravans or laundry room. This also includes hanging out of windows. Smoking is permitted outside the cottages and caravans but cigarette/cigar ends must be disposed of correctly and not left on the ground/garden areas.
No smoking around the stables.
Dogs/pets are welcome ONLY by prior arrangement and at a charge of £20.
Dogs/pets are not allowed on any furniture or in the bath.
Dogs/pets must not be left unsupervised inside the cottages or caravans- if you are intending on leaving them you must put you dog(s) in a cage. A stable may be available for your dog(s) to be left in but must be arranged prior to your stay.
All dog waste must be picked up from the garden/patio areas and the land around the farm.
A £100 non-refundable deposit along with a signed copy of this form is required to secure all bookings.
If making the booking four weeks (or less) before arrival date the full balance must be paid.
The balance of the rental is to be paid 28 days before your arrival date otherwise the booking may be deemed cancelled.
Arrival time in the cottages and caravans is 4pm. Times before or after that to be arranged prior to your arrival.
The cottage/caravans must be left on your departure date by 10am.
Cottages and caravans must be left in the condition that you found it on your arrival. Where excessive cleaning is required after your departure you will be charged the hourly rate for the length of time it takes to clean the cottage/caravan (£10 per hour).
Any breakages or damages will be charged for.
No responsibility can be accepted for personal injury, sickness, loss or damage to personal belongings.
Ample parking is provided but we cannot be responsible for any damage, loss or thefts from vehicles- please secure them appropriately.
Should, for reasons beyond our control, the house be rendered unsuitable for letting on the dates booked, all monies paid will be returned in full. There would be no further claim against us.
Should you have to cancel your holiday please contact us immediately and confirm in writing within 7 days. We will seek to re-let and if successful will return all money paid.
If you break any of these terms and conditions throughout your stay you may be asked to leave the accommodation.
