Old Waterslack Farm was built in 1721 in a delightful woodland setting on the outskirts of Silverdale.
With it’s quaint village shops, Silverdale is just 9 miles from Lancaster which is rich in Maritime history, and only 10 miles from Kendal, the gateway to the majestic Lake District.
The R.S.P.B. Leighton Moss bird reserve is within walking distance whilst the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales is within easy driving distance.
Old Waterslack Farm is an excellent base from which to explore:
- The topiary gardens at Levens Hall;
- Sizergh Castle "the jewel of the National Trust";
- Falconry displays and stately home splendour at Leighton Hall;
- Steamtown Railway Museum in Carnforth;
- And many more attractions
We have available to hire two exclusive holiday cottages and 4 static caravans.
